Atlassian Jira DevOps Engineer

You will work in a team 8 members located in Rotterdam to operate and further develop heavily used, internal collaboration services. We are a young and diverse team using a wide range of technologies applying agile practices and values.

What impact will you have?

  • Take part in the full DevOps lifecycle of our services (Development, Testing, Building, Deployment, Monitoring…)
  • Configure and administrate the Atlassian Jira instance used by more than 10'000 users internally
  • Create integrations with other internal services and it's APIs
  • Automate and improve existing Jira workflows & processes
  • Take part in the further development and maintenance of internal applications
  • Be in direct user contact through our service desk

Work is divided with 60% dev, 40% ops

Job requirements

  • Experience doing Atlassian Jira administration (workflows, schemas, screens)
  • Experience with 1st & 2nd level support. Direct customer contact, good communication & problem solving skills
  • DevOps using Java & Groovy
  • Continuous delivery (ArgoCD is a plus)
  • SQL (PostgreSQL is a plus)
  • VCS (GitLab is a plus)
  • Motivation to work with a multitude of services and technologies
  • Atlassian plugin SDK
  • Cloud experience (AWS, Cloudfroundry is a plus)
  • Jira Service Management including Jira Assets
  • Python, Java springboot, JS / TS using Angular
  • Docker & Kubernetes, Monitoring (Prometheus & Grafana is a plus), Logging (Splunk is a plus)

Contract terms

  • To begin with you will receive a fixed term contract (one year), after 6 months of your employment with us, after a feedback meeting with the team, there is a possibility of extending the contract 
  • The salary ranges mentioned in our Job Descriptions are base annual gross salaries including the 8% holiday allowance
