Information Security Manager

As Information Security Manager, you ensure that the IT and information security landscape of Swisscom Development Center Netherlands (Rotterdam) and Swisscom DevOps Center Latvia (Riga) is compliant to industry security framework standards, local law and Swisscom Group Security (GSE) framework.

As a result you will work closely with the Swisscom Development Center Local Service team, inform and engage with them about the security aspects of business decision making. Furthermore, you help to ensure that our 500+ employees understand and actively managing the risks in alignment with Swisscom Group Security Policy.


What you move

  1. Primary point of contact for used applications owned by Swisscom DevOps Center for all security and compliance related questions
  2. Coordinates the continuous development and updating of security and information policies, standards, guidelines, baselines, processes, and procedures
  3. Responsible for information systems security management education and training in regulatory and industry standards for all Swisscom DevOps Center employees.
  4. Pro-active stakeholder management with Swisscom Group Security (GSE) and the Security champions of the Swisscom DevOps Center(s)
  5. Identifying vulnerabilities and services managed by the Swisscom DevOps Center
  6. Handling of information security incident response process and reporting of events
  7. Responsible for overseeing information security, cybersecurity and IT risk management based on Swisscom Group information security and risk management framework (SecFX)
  8. Be an integral part of the information technology organization improving the maturity levels of information security, state of cybersecurity and IT risk practices

You will help to find the best solutions as a liaison between the DevOps developers, agile teams and Security Leadership of Swisscom.


Activities will include, but not limited to:

  • Assessment of existing (allowed) data access and implemented control mechanism
  • Supporting security awareness for Swisscom DevOps Center employees
  • Supporting security Risk Management from Swisscom DevOps Center
  • Swisscom DevOps data security solution improvement management
  • Managing user access and permission controls for data accesses outside Switzerland and ensuring improvement to the overall process of user access and permissions
  • Opportunity to work both in Switzerland and our DevOps Centers in Rotterdam and Riga
