HR Business Partner

We are currently seeking an HR Business Partner to join our Human Resources team at Swisscom DevOps Center in Rotterdam. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the business to achieve the organization's strategic objectives and align our HR strategy and practices with Swisscom Group.

You will be part of a dynamic HR team in the Netherlands, working closely with HR colleagues in Switzerland and Latvia to deliver programs to our international community of 65 nationalities in Rotterdam. As an HR Business Partner, you will have the opportunity to lead corporate HR initiatives in our DevOps Center while ensuring compliance with HR strategy in our policies and daily operations.

Job requirements

What you will do  

  • Translate business strategy and goals into pragmatic HR programs for our DevOps Center, ensuring alignment and successful implementation with our HR team and stakeholders.

  • Collaborate on developing the HR strategy for our DevOps Center in alignment with Group HR and other stakeholders.

  • Coordinate HR programs and projects, including workforce management, talent management, talent development, total rewards, employee relations (works council, social plan), and performance management.

  • Serve as a local HR point of contact in the DevOps Center in the Netherlands, working alongside HR Business Partner colleagues to liaise with internal stakeholders and service providers.

  • Provide expert advice and ensure compliance with Dutch labor laws and regulations, particularly concerning employment, disciplinary matters, and organizational change, guiding HR policy development and updates end-to-end.

  • Lead communication efforts, manage content, and maintain relations with the Works Council.

  • Oversee and actively contribute in case handling, absence management, and ensure compliance with Dutch labor laws and regulations.

  Who will be a great fit

  • 3+ years as HR Business Partner.

  • Based in the Netherlands (no relocation).

  • Fluent in English;

  • Strong stakeholder management skills in a matrix organisation.

  • Experience in various HR functional areas

  • Solid knowledge of Dutch labour law. Working with a works council would be beneficial.

  • Strong HR professional communication skills on personal and organisational level
