DevOps Engineer - Fullstack Developer

Within the Novis Services team, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of software, including testing and operations. Your role will involve defining, implementing, testing, and operating our applications and services for Swisscom. You will be working in an innovative, agile-driven environment.

What impact will you have?

• You will be a Fullstack Developer in our team

• Collaborate closely with other IT teams and our customers to implement and continuously enhance our system.

• Develop, manage, and monitor deployment lifecycles using innovative technologies.

• Support our customers by defining the functionalities of our product and gathering their feedback.

Engage in both development and operations activities.

• Knowledge in Java

• Knowledge with TypeScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)

• Knowledge with Kubernetes and Docker

• Basic knowledge of SQL

• Understanding and utilization of testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit)

• Strong communication skills in English

• Openness to innovation and a proactive attitude

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab) is a plus

• Familiarity with bash scripting and Linux environments is a plus

Allowances

Contract terms

• To begin with you will receive a fixed term contract (one year), after 6 months of your employment with us, after a feedback meeting with the team, there is a possibility of extending the contract

• The salary ranges mentioned in our Job Descriptions are base annual gross salaries including the 8% holiday allowance
