DevOps Engineer
Become part of a DevOps squad for the SAP FI-CA / RM-CA telecommunications system. You are involved in design, development, testing, deployment, and daily operations of SAP RMCA
What impact will you have?
Working in interdisciplinary teams according to the DevOps method, your core activities are design, development, testing, deployment, and daily operations. You also debug complex SAP ABAP solutions for implementation, enhancement and support of the software. In short: Thanks to your ABAP development and customizing expertise, you're at the forefront of software development. Analyzing technical vulnerabilities in current and future systems on the basis of customer feedback and best practice is therefore an integral part of your role. In this capacity, you work closely with stakeholders and are the go-to person for business enquiries and troubleshooting. In meetings, you make a note of requirements and translate these into technical solutions. You will also work closely with functional consultants, and operations team to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and efficient solutions. You are also responsible for creating training materials and documentation, internal training and providing technical support.
Job requirements
IT diploma (ETH/Uni/UAS) or equivalent
3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP / ABAP OO application development
Monitoring and managing daily operations including bill runs, invoicing cycles, and interface processing
Knowledge of FI-CA/RM-CA a plus
Experience of automation, continuous integration/deployment, and monitoring a plus
Highly motivated and interested in new technical developments such as S4/HANA
A proactive team player who can react flexibly in this dynamically changing environment
Knowledge in agile development methods (Scrum, Kanban, DevOps) a plus
Very good English, knowledge of German language is an advantage
