DevOps Engineer (Python, Kubernetes, Prometheus)

We are the cloud transformation team that supports the business teams in transforming towards cloud native and migrating the applications to AWS. We also own the observability capability based on OpenTelemetry and the LGTM stack (Grafana, Mimir, Loki & Tempo). Together with your teammates, you will be involved in the migration activities and developing the observability solution further.


What impact will you have? 

You will implement and maintain migration capabilities, automatic migration pipelines, and support the business teams in transforming the applications towards and microservice architecture based on either Kubernetes, serverless or a combination of both.
The cloud transformation teams will support the business teams in transforming towards cloud native and migrating the applications to AWS.

You will collaborate closely with the Mission 100 teams in order to implement all capabilities needed to operate the workloads following the SRE approach (operations with software means). This includes GitOps CI/CD, observability, automatic policy validation, etc.

Job requirements

  • Degree in computer science or equivalent working experience

  • Multiple years of experience in software engineering, preferably with framework development (Java, Python, Javascript/Typescript, Go)

  • Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, Grafana stack - LGTM)

  • Profound hands-on experience with following AWS technologies: EKS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, PKI (these ones are nice to have: S3, EFS/EBS, RDS, SNS/SQS, DocumentDB, …)

  • In depth expertise with the Kubernetes stack (Operators, CRD’s, Policies, TLS)

  • Multiple years of experience in setting up & maintaining services in a cloud environment and monitoring them

  • Hands on experience with declarative based infrastructure as code automation tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation, CDK

  • Strong communication and English skills(business fluent).

Contract terms
