The Swisscom Production Service and Resource Catalog is the basis for transparency and automation for every Service in Swisscom. By working on it you will have great impact on making Swisscom more data driven and automated. Its a high profile project which has a lot of attention. It is in an advanced stage of development and is focused on building a state-of-the-art software platform and product suite based on the SAFe methodology. It serves the entirety of Swisscom's teams and services, encompassing all aspects from the platform to the end-users, spanning the range from large teams to the smallest units. The team strongly values autonomy, proactivity, and a sense of ownership, making end-to-end responsibility the standard. As part of this project, you will collaborate with five other software engineers.
What are we looking for?
We are seeking full stack software engineer with a strong background in Java, Spring Boot and GoLang. Familiarity with technologies such as GraphQL,Angular and Node.js is a plus. Candidates should have a track record of working in agile environments, particularly those focused on on-demand software production. The role involves developing robust and thoroughly tested software solutions while also having the opportunity and support to innovate and address a wide range of user, business, and technical challenges.
What impact will you have?
- You develop solutions in the area of enterprise service management
- You operate and ensure the availability of the required infrastructure and applications and react quickly to disruptions
- You ensure that the lifecycle of all involved components is secured and coordinate the implementation with other teams
Job requirements
- Good knowledge of Backend Development (Java), REST APIs, Spring frameworks, Microservices and GoLang
- Experience with RDBMS, Postgres, MSSQL and noSQL
- Experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins) as well as coding and Scripting Languages
- Experience with Angular (preferred) or React is a plus
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes or other cloud environments is a plus
- Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus
- Communicative, active contributor who enjoys teamwork as much as sharing ideas and expertise
- Proficient in English
