Job description

For our Local Service Team, we are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to support the development and maintenance of interactive dashboards, ensuring accurate and actionable insights for stakeholders. In this role, you will work with teams to drive data-driven decisions, improve existing systems, and explore future developments. Our focus is on delivering high-quality dashboards tailored to business needs while fostering collaboration and innovation. You are already based in The Netherlands


About your responsibilities:

  • Collect, organize, and analyze complex data sets using analytical tools to provide actionable insights. 

  • Design and deliver reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses tailored to business needs. 

  • Collaborate with local teams to understand requirements and develop data-driven solutions. 

  • Provide user support, helping stakeholders leverage dashboards effectively for decision-making. 

  • Identify opportunities to enhance data quality, processes, and visualization techniques.

  • Verify and validate effort calculations for potential changes received from external suppliers.

  • Modify and optimize backend coding for the Data Warehouse Solution as needed.

  • Maintain ETL pipelines, ensuring seamless operation and future scalability.

  • Oversee planning of deliverables, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align business requirements with technology solutions, fostering efficient communication and decision-making.

  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and technologies in data analysis and visualization to drive innovation.

Job requirements

  • You are already based in The Netherlands, we do not provide relocation or sponsor for the role.

  • Dashboard Development: Create and maintain interactive dashboards in Tableau, adhering to business needs and enhancing usability with UX/UI principles. 

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable insights. Acting as a facilitator to align current technology stacks with potential future developments. 

  • Data Modelling and Analysis: Design and implement data models that optimize database structures for analysis. Conduct deep dives into datasets for predictive analytics and insights exploration. 

  • Programming and Backend Development: Possess strong programming skills to validate supplier effort calculations, modify backend systems, and ensure seamless data warehouse solution operations.

  • Documentation and informing: Maintain thorough documentation of processes and findings. Educate and support stakeholders to effectively utilize dashboards and insights. 

Required knowledge and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.

  • Minimum 2 years experience in data analysis, data engineering, or related roles. 

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, specifically Tableau.

  • Knowledge of SQL and database management. 

  • Proficient in Python, with expertise in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Seaborn, and Matplotlib.

  • Strong understanding of backend development principles and the ability to modify and optimize code as needed.

  • Knowledge of data modeling principles and data warehouse concepts, with experience in ETL processes.

  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Written and verbal communication for presenting data-driven insights.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills to facilitate collaboration and alignment across teams.

Allowances

Contract terms

  • To begin with you will receive a fixed term contract (one year), after 6 months of your employment with us, after a feedback meeting with the team, there is a possibility of extending the contract to an indefinite term

  • The salary ranges mentioned in our Job Descriptions are base annual gross salaries including the 8% holiday allowance
