Java Full Stack Developer (DevSecOps)
Your role
Working in a small international DevSecOps team you are responsible for an in-house application for reporting that help us meet Security and Compliance goals. This covers main aspects of products delivery go from cloud native application architecture to operations, with focus on software-development (coding). Working closely with users and stakeholders in collaboration with your team, you are primarily responsible for the success of the developed products and for their user experience. In this role you will have the opportunity to develop both your cloud native skills and IT Security skills with Europe’s leading brand for quality.
Our team
We are a small, agile, international team with a mix of Security and development tasks focusing on cloud native security tooling.
We support other development teams in how they can efficiently use novel security tools and automation for their applications to reduce the pain of implementing security. We also develop in house applications, API’s and reporting that help us meet Security and Compliance goals. Your primary role will be to develop one of these in-house tools. - Requiring a multidisciplinary experience and entrepreneurial mindset, your tasks include:
- Prototyping of Minimum Viable Products and features
- Software architecture and design, UX
- Software development (coding skills)
- Tests management and execution (including unit and performance tests)
- Product operations and support
Tech skills
- Experience in Web applications development using Java (Spring Boot) and JavaScript / TypeScript (Angular), NodeJS as a plus.
Experience in backend development using API-Calls and SQL-Databases (MariaDB), MongoDB as a plus.
Experience in the full software development life cycle including object-oriented design, software-development (coding) ,operations & environment management, continuous delivery & monitoring (including test automation)
- Knowledge of Lean & Agile Methodologies
- Knowledge of Cloud techniques (AWS, GitOps, K8s, Docker, Cloud Foundry) and API-Design
- Knowledge of common developments tools: IntelliJ, Jenkins, Gradle, JHipster, Gitlab
- Good English (written and spoken), German is a plus
