DevOps Engineer Monitoring Services
What you move
You will be working as a part of the logging services team on automation and deployment of k8s-based Splunk on AWS and internal data center.
You will be responsible for the entire stack and enjoy new professional and technological challenges. In addition, you like to share your knowledge with motivated team members, which also helps you to constantly push each other and improve your skills.
Swisscom logging services is currently operating a large scale Splunk cluster in several data centers. Over the next years this will be migrated to a hybrid-cloud / multi-cloud solution integrating on-premises and cloud log data, with AWS-Zurich region in a first phase.
Job requirements
Why you succeed
- Experience with Python and Golang
- Proven experience with k8s for Cloud (ideally AWS) and data center (self provisioned)
- Kustomize (kubernetes, ideally + standalone for non-k8s)
- Knowledge of microk8s and multipass, minikube or similar
- Proficient in English
- Experience with large scale k8s deployments is a plus
- ArgoCD, Flux knowledge is a plus
- Ansible & Terraform experience is a plus
- Previous experience with large scale logging is a plus
- Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus
